By India Today Web Desk: The highly anticipated first list of the University of Delhi will be released tomorrow, October 19, 2022, for applicants who are eagerly waiting to apply for the various undergraduate courses offered by the university. This year, for the very first time, admissions will be based on the new CUET 2022.

The first undergraduate limit list will be released at 5 p.m. on the official website i.e. du.ac.in. The list has been postponed until tomorrow, given the ongoing St. Stephen’s College case before the Supreme Court.

EARLY TICKET ACCEPTANCE FROM OCTOBER 19 TO 21

Earlier, the seat acceptance process for assigned seats will be from tomorrow, October 19 to 21, 2022.

The deadline to pay the admission fee is October 24, 2022. But, after this new decision by the authorities, a new calendar will be published and updated soon.

ACCEPTANCE OF THE PROVISIONAL ASSIGNED SEAT

The candidate must “accept” an assigned seat before the last date/time specified in the allocation round for which the seat was assigned. Assigned seats can only be accepted during the round in which they were assigned.

A lack of activity or lack of action will be considered a refusal to accept the assigned seat. The CSAS-2022 will consider it as a refusal and the candidate will not be able to participate in the following rounds.

ONLINE APPROVAL BY THE COLLEGE

As soon as the candidate accepts the provisional seat, the college concerned checks the candidate’s eligibility and documents. A college can question an applicant during the online approval process if they need more information/clarifications from them.

Once the seat tentatively allocated to the candidate has been verified, the college either “approves” or “rejects” it. The colleges will not leave any application unattended. As soon as the college approves the applicant, the college will charge the “Admission Fee”
