NEIT offers free university courses to high school students

New England Tech has been approved to offer more than a dozen college courses to high school students in Rhode Island during the winter and spring terms of 2022. The ACN program offers high school students in Rhode Island the opportunity to do so. experience a credited course at a New England Tech college; and sample an area of ​​professional interest for free. Tuition, books and any other required learning materials are covered by the RIDE program.

Classes for the winter term begin on January 10, 2022; Spring classes begin March 28, 2022. Both sessions will last ten weeks. Registrations will remain open until the start of classes and until places remain available. Most courses will be held at NEIT’s East Greenwich and Warwick campuses with one exception. To promote financial literacy statewide, RIDE has approved several courses titled Plan your financial future which will be presented virtually during the NEIT Spring Quarter which begins in March. This class is scheduled as a hybrid model in the winter quarter of next January. Places are currently available for this class.
